I'm not sure that the Joseph Pavey (victualler, licensed to operate a pub) was the same person as the Joseph pavey who was the father of Dyal (Dial) Pavey et al. As you note, this Joseph immigrated directly from England, embarking in 1735. However, there are records of the Georgia Dial Pavey being born to Joseph and Jame Pavey in Maryland in 1727. The family appears to have migrated to Orange Co., N.C. and then to north Georgia, and then to Butler Co., Ala., in the early 1800s. Some went to Louisiana in the mid-1800s.
