Hi I was just on the new site for WW1 Service Records for the State of MO and found this fellow.

Luther Francis Pavy b 6 Sep 1896 Zelma MO (Zalma)
RFD 2 Portageville MO
Inducted at Caruthersville on 9/18/1918 164 DEP BRIG to Discharge 100 % disability

So I went to the SS death index and found him , he died on 8 Oct 1975.

I am trying to find out if he is the son of James R. Pavy and Margaret Ellen "Maggie" Penick . She is the sister to my gg-grandma. The Pavy's were married in Nov 1896 in Bollinger Co Mo.so I do doubt this is their son! But perhaps someone out there knows who he was and if he was related. It's the 1st clue I have found in along time!
