I think Cathy Summerlin has information on your branch. There were several Dennis Paulsons, I believe they all descended from James Paulson, son of Walter & Rebecca Paulson from Alabama.

From the notes I had from Cathy Summerlin, Dennis (grandson of James) and his wife (don't know her name) had two chlldren, Jake and Margaret. When the parents died, the children stayed for awhile with Dennis' brother Bill and then came to Oklahoma City and lived with Jacob A. Paulson and family, Jacob being Dennis & Bill's father. Jake married Ethel Yarbrough and may have named a son Dennis. I'm not sure, the notes may say that Jake was killed in WW II or his son. Margaret married at age 16 to David Millard Standford, who served in the Spanish -American War.

Does any of this sound familiar?
