I am looking for information on the following family whic appears int he 1900 census for Cottonwood County:

"Jim" Paulson

"Sina" Paulson (true name Jensine Andersen Paulson)

Walter E. Paulson (is in Colorado in 1920 census - married Mabel DeShain

Martin Paulson

Emma Paulson

Ef??? Paulson

The children above were born in MN, most likely Cottonwood County.

There were at least two other children who were older and out of the home by the time of the 1900 census:

Laura Paulson (shows up in Colorado in 1920 census)
Martinus Paulson (lived in Minnesota)
Martinus and Laura were born in Denmark.
Walter, Martin, Laura, and anoither daughter, Emily, are all listed as residents of Denver, Colorado in the obituary of their helf-brother, Marinus Pederson. Marinus was my great-grandfather so these half-siblings are my distant cousins.

Martinus Paulson imported a bride named Thora from Denmark. She arrived in 1914. They had two children by 1920, a daughter Lillian and a son, Kenneth.

Walter Paulson married a Mabel DeShain from Colorado. By 1920 they had one son, Melvin C. Paulson.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated!

Juliet Pederson Moritz
