I am looking for Johann Paulsen he was my great grand father according to my father he was born in schleswig holstein November 22 1855 departed the port of Hamburg Germany on April 9 1872 was 17 then name of the ship was Gitana arrived in New York City May 3 1872 settled in Porter county Indiana married Magaret Trede 22 Febuary 1878.They moved to a farm near Osmond Nebraska in 1891.He died in Plainview Nebraska November 25 1913 under the name Fred Paulsen is buried in Eden Valley cemetery about 5 miles east of Plainview Nebraska would be much apreciated if you would check and see if there is any record of him in Schleswig Holstein my e mail address kbpaulsen@windstream.net Best regards from Keith Paulsen
