I have a great grandfather Heinrich Claus Paulsen born on August 05, 1874 in Washington, Illinois - Will County. His wife was Minnie and they had a son named Raymond Marvin Earl Paulsen born on November 24, 1906.

Heinrich Claus Paulsen's parents were Klaus Paulsen and Sophia Hack from Kiel Germany.

This is all the information I have on my father's side of the family as my grandmother Betty passed on before I was able to glean any further information.

I do know that our branch of the Paulsen family owned extensive land between Joliet and Chicago Illinois that was turned over to Lutheran homes for their care.

Any information I can find would be greatly appreciated as my father did not maintain many records and my grandfather destroyed most of them after my grandmother passed on.

Thank You for any assistance!

Ed Paulsen
