Uriah Paulk born 1746 Tolland Ct According to p 9 of The Paulk's of America by Jessie H. Paulk (1990) This family is documented by Louise Latimer Owens (deceased) in her work "Taproot of the SC Babtist Back Country, Fairforest Babtist Churchand other Church records and books located in the Union Co Public Library in SC.
Also appear in Ct Term 25 Sep 1786 Union Co SC' He married Rachel E. Collins, dhe was a widow in 1790 and administration of estate applied for, Probate Court, Union Co SC (Book of Records 1785-1791, census, 1790-1800 Union Co SC.
I have reason to believe she died and was buried in Chambers Co Al. No one has found any proof, yet of her dying in Union Co SC. William Paulk is buried there and next to him has Rachel on one side of her headstone and the otherside has Mother. We believe she is mother of Wm.
and Uriah brothers (Paulk).
