Mickey,

Update on the children of Jacob Paulk and Savannah Salina Parker:

Children of Jacob Paulk and Savannah Salina Parker:

Elizabeth Paulk
born abt. 1868
died: in childhood

John Joseph David Paulk
born 30 Nov 1873
died 10 Nov 1945
married three times (info. which you have)

Alfred Allen I. Paulk
born abt. 1875
married Matilda (Tildis) E. Stanley (this was not her maiden name, it was her married name. This was Tildis' second marriage. She had two children from her previous marriage).
note: I am 99% certain that his name was actually Alfred and was called "Al", however he is also found as Albert and as Allen. I believe the Allen may have been his middle name, other middle initial was I. or L.

Elenora "Norah" Paulk
born 06 Jul 1877
died 07 Jun 1931
married Everitt Greenberry "Green" Lee

Sarah Jenina S. Paulk
born abt. 1880
married 1st: Henry Parker
married 2nd: George Wiggins

Abbie Paulk
born 03 Feb 1885
died 29 Nov 1957
married Jimmie Lee

Savannah Salina Parker was the daughter of Daniel Parker and Mary Polly Mitchell.
Her full name may have been Permelia Savannah Selina Parker. She is found on the 1850 census as P. S. Parker and then found on the 1860 census as S. C. Parker.
We know census records after she married Jacob Paulk lists her has "Salina". Her daughter Norah Paulk Lee's death certificate lists her as "Savannah". I believe the S. C. on the 1860 census may have been for Savannah Celina.
It was not uncommon for this Mitchell family to give their children more than one middle name.
Mary Polly Mitchell was the daughter of Drury Mitchell and Rhoda Mary Rebecca Lassiter.

Savannah Salina Parker's sister, Elizabeth Caroline Parker, married L. Reynolds Brightwell.

The Parker's and the Brightwell's came to Butler Co., AL in the middle 1850's from Stewart Co., GA. The Mitchell's also came to Butler Co. at this time (from Marion Co., GA which neighbors Stewart Co., GA).

One of Drury Mitchell's grand-daughter's married George Washington Lee (uncle to Norah's husband, Everitt Greenberry "Green" Lee).
