Hi Jim,
I find your Clark Pauley listed in the 1900 census for Boone County, WV at age 47, with wife Julia, age 53. The census reading states that Clark was born in West Virginia and was living in Sherman, WV in 1900.
The 1900 census also lists that Clark and Julia had been married for 6 years which puts their marriage around 1894. It also states that they had 9 children at this time and that only 8 children were alive.
The only children living with Clark and Julia in the 1900 census were: Paulina (17), Rhoda (12), Frances (10), and Burke (5).
This is all have so far.
