Hi,
My name is Edwin Paul, a name that has been in the Paul family for 150 years. You have aroused my curiosity. My father had an uncle who lived near Oklahoma City in the 1890's. Noone in the family knows what happened to him. We know that he was paid the handsome sum of $.50 to allow the author of a Geography book take his photo. This is the only photo of Ed I have ever seen. My family was part of the 2nd land rush to Canadian Co., OK in 1892. Except for finding a picture among Grandpa's things marked Laura, Ed Paul's daughter, I would never have known he existed. Even my father, born in 1911, had no idea he existed. Edwin would have been born around 1870-75 in upstate NY, probably Chenango County, but I haven't researched that yet. Any possibility there is a connection to your Edwin?
Edwin Paul
