Hon. J. Marsahll Paul, Dead
On last Sunday a stranger dropped dead in Central Park, New York. Subsequentlythe remains were recognized by his sister as those of Hon. J. Marshall PaulDeceased settled in Colorado at an early day, first in Denver, but after a short time he established his permanent home in Park county.Mr. Paul was a prominent and enterprising citizen.A lawyer by profession, he gave more attention to mining pursuits and other active outdoor business.For a long time he was the principal owner and manager of the famous Printer Boy mine in California gulch.He served his county in the upper house of the Territorial Legislative, was prominent in many Republican conventions and an active politician.He was commissioner from the State to the directory of the Philadelphia Exposition and rendered efficient service.His remains were taken to Philadelphia for burial.
