I am looking for any descendants of RICHARDS NELSON PAUL born in Perth ON in 1890 to JESSE CLARA OATWAY and WILLIAM ROBERT PAUL. Nelson had siblings ELLEN, FLOSSIE, LES, EVA, ERNIE AND LIZZIE. All but Les moved to Auburn NY after their father died in 1909.
RICHARD NELSON PAUL married GLADYS LILLIAN WALKER daughter of ROBERT WALKER and FANNY GERTURDE REID and they lived in Merrickville ON until 1916 when Nelson went to France in WW1 and was wounded and returned home. Nelson and Gladys had two children HAROLD OATWAY PAUL born abt 1912 died Nov 8 1917 of drowning and MARGARET PAUL born July 26 1916. Gladys died 1918 in the flu epidemic. Nelson remarried 1919.
Margaret is shown on the 1930 census of Syracuse NY with her father and his second wife Jennie Gilbert and a step brother Millard.
Margaret made inquiries about her father's war record in the 1970's. I believe her married name may be STIVERS and her husband MAY have been PAUL STIVERS. They may have had a child named DANA LEE STIVERS.
