Hi All,
I've been researching the Paul's of Rockland/Orange Co NY. I am at a dead-end with John Paul b ? d sometime after the Rev War. Unable to find his gravestone but found his wife's stone (Rebekah Remsen Paul) in OakHill Cemetery Nyack, NY.
The line continues down with their son Samuel DeBaun Paul b1800 m Mary Ann DePew
their son Cornelius Paul b1830 m1862 d1910 m Sarah Mancell Furman
their son John Wesley Paul b1870 d1930 m Jennie Wilkes
their son Clarence Paul m Adlien V. Ash
their daughter Doris Louise Paul 25 Jan 1931 m Deane Alden Anderson
their daughter,me, Christy Lee Anderson b25 Nov 1953 m Timothy J Hendrie
my kids and grandkids
I have all the dates, gravestones, some family records, census records... but can't seem to find where John Paul came from. He was a farmer, surveyor of roads at times, but no record of fighting in the Rev War. Can anyone help?
