Louisa W. Paul married Thomas B. Moore, September 20, 1849
Not my family line, just sharing.
From the book "HISTORY AND BIOGRAPHY, COUNTIES OF WHITE AND PULASKI INDIANA. Historical and Biographical. Illustrated. Chicago; F. A. Battey & CO., Publishers. 1883."
page 403, Liberty Township, White County, Indiana.
"THOMAS B. MOORE was born in Morgan County, Ohio, July 9, 1824, and is one of seven children born to THOMAS and MARIA (LUPARTIS) MOORE, viz.: JOHN, THOMAS, MARY, WILLIAM, RACHEL, ANN and ELLEN. RACHEL is dead. The father was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania, in 1796; moved to Pittsburgh, and thence to Marietta, Ohio, in FULTON's first steamboat, the "Clermont;" he then moved to Morgan County, and thence came to this county, where he died shortly after the breaking-out of the late war (Civil War). At the age of twenty-eight, THOMAS B. left Morgan County, and came to the farm where he now resides. He was married September 20, 1849, to LOUISA W. PAUL, who has given birth to seven children - MARY, JACOB, ELIZABETH, BENJAMIN, JOHN, LILY, and JOSEPH. Of these, MARY and JACOB are dead. MR. MOORE's farm is located ten and one half miles north of Monticello, and comprises 520 acres, one half under cultivation, and the other half in timber. He raises the usual variety of crops and gives equally as much attention to live stock. He is the heaviest land-owner resident in the township, but he has acquired it all by the hardest work and the strictest economy, having come here with very limited means. In the spring of 1854, he was elected Justice of the Peace, and was so efficient that he was induced to hold the office for twelve consecutive years. He has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church since he was fifteen years of age, and is a tried and trustworthy citizen."
