The first Pauls in Plymouth were Richard and William, both of Taunton, but neither they came some years after the Mayflower. William, at least, had descendants who married descendants of Mayflower passengers. If your line is from William, and you can name an ancestor born before 1900 it is likely that his ancestry is recorded in The Descendants of William Paul by Edward Paul, which can be seen at Taunton's Old Colony Historical Society, or in microfilm at LDS centers, where it is called the American Family Paul. There is a book that goes another generation for those who are descended from the Chenango County, NY descendants of Benjamin Paul.
