I believe our Paul families are probably connected.I have a Macon Paul born 1833 in NC, lived in MS, then died in Williamson Co., TX.His daughter, Sophie Paul, married in Williamson Co., TX.I have the line traced loosely back to a William Paul born in late 1600's/early 1700's.The descendants migration was from SC to NC to MS to TX.
I do have a number of William Pauls listed in my database but with little info, so I can't say for certain that there's a match.
