Hi Mary,
Here is the information that my Grandfather, George Darr PAUL compiled about his ancestry:
[Our ancestor] once or twice moved from South Carolina, but married a Miss Williamson of South Carolina.
Their Children were.
Archie(lived in Augusta Ga.)
William(lived in Texas)
Sam(lived in Bruner Ala.)
Isabelle (married McWaters, lived in unkown)
Martha(married Gray, lived in Atlanta Ga.)
George Williamson (married Minerva Biggs of Benton Tenn.)
George Williamson Paul was born on Fishing Creek Chester District, South Carolina, Jan 24th., 1822 and Died Jan., 6th., 1899 near Benton Tenn. and buried in Benton Cemetery.Age 76 Years 11 Mo. and 12 Days.
He was married to Minerva Marrella Biggs Nov., 1848 Who was born in Polk County near Big Springs 1st., District, Dec., 15th., 1826 and died Feb., 19th., 1899 and was buried in Benton Cemetery. Age 72 Years 2 Mo. and 4 Days.
Their Children were.
John Alexander Paul Born Oct., 15th., 1850. Near Benton Tenn, Polk County. Married Maggie Tayor Of Near Benton Tenn. Polk County.Died Jan 17th.1899. in Cleveland and Buried in Cleveland Cemetery. Age 48 Years 3 Mo. and 2 Days.
James Temple Paul, Born March 17th., 1853. Near Benton, Tenn. Polk County. Married Charlotte Newell Darr of Charleston Tenn. Bradley County. Died Nov., 15th., 1913. in Balitmore Md. and buried in ClevelandCemetery. Age 60 Years 7 Mo. and 28 Days.
William Thomas Paul, Born Jan., 28th., 18Near Benton Tenn. Polk County.
Samuel McClure Paul, Born June 3rd., 1856 Near Benton, Tenn. Polk County.Married Annie Stewart of Benton Tenn.Died Sept., 28th., 1830. in Cleveland Tenn. and buried in Cleveland Cemetery.Age 74 Years 3 Mo. and 25 Days.
Margart Elizabeth Paul Born Feb., 4th., 1862 Near Benton Tenn.Never Married.Died.

I have found the marriage record of Isabella and Alexander McWatters in Newton Co. GA, 1836.I have been in contact with a descendant of Sam (Bruner Ala) who said that the parents died near Altanta from Cholera and the children were raised by Martha Gray.He was not aware that Martha was their sister.
