Dear Betty, I wanted to write and tell you that I know for sure now that the daughter born to Abraham Paul (III) and (Amelia) born 1826 is not C. Paul Stokes. It is Dicey Ann Paul. I was contacted by a cousin Maria Dillion that has a will that shows this Abraham (III) was also married to a woman named Dicey Ann Bullard, she has to be Dicey Anns mother, not Amelia.I am not sure about the other children, Samuels daughter has the same name so it is possible that his mother is Dicey Ann too. Also in answering a cousin I couldn't remember who told me about Phillip Traywick, I said I thought Joan Oxendine, but wasn't sure. Sorry for the mix up. I would love to hear from you. Cousin Mary
