I have just startyed researching my Cornoyer family history. I dont have the specifics at this time, but I know in the early 1800's, one of my ancestors came from canada...? Not sure where at this time...? Somewhere in the mid or east part of canada.
In the mid 1800's, a major Cornoyer came to the Oregon frontier, and eventually married into the Umatilla tribe and somehow i have relations in the Nez Peirce' tribe of Idaho, formerly from eastern Oregon... still researching this obviously and my knowledge at this time is sketchy.
Please return mail if you have any more to input. I would like to enter your email address into my book, so please reply if you can or desire too. I have a copy of my genealogy that goes back 200 years or so on the Cornoyer side, but I dont have it with me at this time, so I cant reference anything at this time.
Thanks
Scott L. Cornoyer
