Pauls of Taunton
My nephew, Justin Paul, is currently living in Taunton so he can research Paull history there. One of the things that he has stumbled across that I had never heard before is that there were 3 Paul men in Taunton in the 1640: Richard, William and Benjamin. This Benjamin I had never heard of. Could this have been a brother that William named his son for. Also, many old genealogists have William listed as "son or brother" of Richard. He definately is too old to be the son of Richard Paul and Margaret Turner although they did have a son named William. Was there two Richards. He has also uncovered a relationship between Daniel Paul of Maine and Richard of Taunton. Can anyone shed light on this?
