Hi Mary! It's gratifying to finally possibly be able to help someone else on this line!I haven't been able to locate Phillip Traywick anywhere else so far, but living close to Dight Paul on the 1850 Robeson County census are two different Trawick families. He is residence 114, Margaret Trawick and family are residence 121, and Neill McDonald and his wife Charity Trawick McDonald and family are residence 127.I was working on finding other relationships between the Traywicks (Trawicks) and the Pauls.
I was hoping that I had guessed the relationships correctly and that the daughter born to Abraham in 1826 was Dicy Ann Paul McDuffie (married Cornelius "Neill" McDuffie 24 May 1842) mentioned in Silas Paul's will.If this isn't her, can you tell me which family she fits in?The only other Dicy A. I have found is Samuel's daughter, born 1846--she can't have married Neill McDuffie in 1842!
I'll keep searching for more info and let you know!
Betty
