Thank you very much for the offer. It got the best of me yesturday so my mother and I went over there to the library.Found what I was looking for.Not related but James Paul and his wife Elizabeth evidentally where very good people.Lydia A. Paul was my GGGrandmother but Joseph Hampton was the father of the two sons I needed information on.Lydia died Dec. 11 1873.Buried with her where 4 children.I am thinking 1 was John F. Hampton b. 23 Aug. 1857.There are no further references to him so I thought he might be one of the 4 children. His brother Martiullus William Hampton is my GGrandfather. He always told that he didn't have any family left. Now I see why.He was known as Wm. He died in 1913.
Lydia could have had some living children with Gabriel, I don't know.If there is any information on this I wouyld appreciate it.Do you know if there is a stone for Gabriel?I will try and get back over there to see.Are you from this area?I am from Effingham Co.Thank YouConnie Bushue
