Decendants of Cornelius & Fannie Paul (IL)
I am researching the life of Susan Elizabeth Paul, (1838-1922)
Specifically, I am trying to locate the diary of Fannie Wookey Paul, wife of Cornelius Danford Paul.I am told it still exists, and it is rumored to be in the possession of a decendant in California. The present owner may be a great grandchild of Fannie and Cornelius, (a grandchild of their daughter Fanny Edith Paul.It is my dearest hope that this extrememly important document is still treasured by a decendant

Charles Hickox Paul died from "the effects of a wound recieved by the accidental discharge of a fowling piece" at the the age of "15 yrs, 7 mos, and 10 days".I regret that I do not know much about E. R. Paul, who he married , the name of the first son, or any other children in his family. He was born in Connecticutt c. 1827.If you are a decendant of this branch of the family, could you please fill in some of the blanks in my research?

(born 1860) and George, who, at the time of Susan's death in 1922, lived in New York.I don't hope to find any connection to the diary through the Kerr's, nor any connection of the Kerr's to Evanston, although I do know that the family made their home there for some time.
