I have been trying to find ANY information about my great-great grandmother Malissa Paty or as she is sometimes referred to Malicy Patty, and her family. I can find her marriage record to my great-great grandfather John S. Widner April 22, 1870 in St. Marys, Auglaize County, Ohio. I can find her on the 1870 Census with my grandfather. She is supposed to have been born September 1854 in Darke County, Ohio. She and my 2 great grandfather were divorced in 1878 and she immediatedly married Robert S. Botkin (Bodkin.) She died March 17, 1879. She had 3 children with my 2 great grandfather-Carrie May Widner, John Edward Widner and Jennie M. Widner. She had one son named Millard with Robert Botkin. Obviously there was some infidelity somewhere in there because Millard was born in 1876, 2 years before her divorce from Widner. Oh well...
