This Joseph Patton died in Morgan County, TN, April 27, 1849.My g,g, grandmother was Minerva Patton, daughter of Thomas Tipton Patton who was a son of this Joseph Patton. Would like to share and correspond with other researchers of this line.

JOSIAH PATTON late of said county a Rev. war pensioner is dead, he died 4-27-1849 and that his wife ELIZABETH PATTON of the same place died 1-25-1850. They were both due a remainder of a pension and neither of them having made disposition by will otherwise the court will appoint a special Adm. Of the estate of said decedents.

"JOSEPH PATTEN, NC line S3632, soldier lived in Rowan County, NC at enlistment and he referred to Uncle (father's brother) ROBERT PATTEN who was fixing cannon cartridges for the Revolutionary Army, soldier was born in PA and was just barely old enough to remmber moving to Rowan County, NC, where he lived until some 2 years after theRevolution, then he moved to Madison County, KY for a few years then moved toMontgomery County, KY for 17 years, then to Cumberland County, KY for 16 years, then to Overton County, TN for 8 or 9 years, then to Morgan County, TN where he applied October 15, 1832."
