Hey Debbie

On John and Sallie Patton, Sallie is buried in Kingsport, but where John is buried no one knows, there was flooding in the area where John was buried, he was buried on one side of the river, and Sallie is buried on the other side, and when the water flooded the area, it wash out several graves, and so now no one knows where he is resting.
Families has searched, and had the county to try to locate these graves, but to this day, John hasn't been located nor the loved ones of these families.
According to family members, Tenie was involved with two men, the first was a man by the name of Boatwright, had a daughter, Nancy, who married George Barnett of Scott Co, Va.
The second involvement was with Elijah Thompson, they were from Scott Co, Va. Elijah's parents were John and Elizabeth Thompson. Elijah and Teanie had three children between them, John I, and Eliza, they were Thompson, but Elijah and Teanie were divorced, and Elijah didn't know that Teanie was pregnant with Sallie. Elijah ended up with the two children, Johnnie and Eliza, he tried to get Sallie, but to no avil. So Sallie went by Shupe.
There is a rumor that Elijah had commited a murder, and says it involved Teanie and a lover, but nothing has been proved. But family says that is the reason why Teanie and Elijah were divorced.
I have a little more info if your interested, just let me know.
