I have two possibilities on the 1820 Ohio census:

Richard Patton/Butler County, OH/St. Clair Twp/ 6 persons

R. Patten/Warren County, OH/Deerfield Twp/ 7 persons

I believe the Richard Patton in Butler on the 1820 to be my Richard. He was in Darke County, OH on the 1830 and 1840 census. Off to Cass County, IN on the 1850 census. Then 1856, 1860, 1870 and 1880 in Iowa County, IA/Marengo.

There was a Richard Patten on the 1850 Parke County, IN/Adams Twp who was born 1785 in MD. This is the same Richard I mentioned earlier who married Mary "Polly" Alexander. Both this Richard and his wife died in 1854....I have their obits. Their obits say he was 70 and she was 59 at the time of death.
