www.footnote.com has some Revolutionary War era records for John Patton in the 1776 onwards era...who he served under, his rank, what battles he fought in. There is also a sad story about a Robert Patton of Lancaster County, who also served, and while he was fighting, had his property confiscated by the patriot forces. I don't know if he is related to John Patton or not.
