I am searching for info on the ancestry of William Patton b. abt 1785 in Delaware. He came to Wellsburg, Brooke county, Virgina (now West Virginia) where he raised a family with his wife Eliza, I do not know her maiden name. He was a teacher and Justice if Peace. Children are: Sarah Jane (Patton) Walker, James, Eliza (spinster), John, and Maria (Patton) Waddle. I am a direct descendant and any info is apprecited.
