Hi Fay,
Thank you for your message. I found it quite interesting. I had not heard of Dr. Agricola. I would like to know more about him and his research. Admittedly I have not delved into Patton research as I would have liked lately. I have always had this book to point me in the right direction, so I haven’t given my Patton line the attention I have given my other lines.
You asked if I was connected to Alexander of Grundy Co. and Salina Hollingsworth. I don't know I would have to go look them up. Hollingsworth is my married name. My husband's line is very thoroughly traced back to Henry Hollingsworth of Ireland by a wonderful Hollingsworth researcher Eileen Gray. I will check that connection though. I would not at all be surprised that we have a record or two for Salina. As far as Alexander goes, I don't think so. My line is through Samuel b.1756m. Jane McNeely (N.C.), then their son Alexander (b.1780) m. Levinia Myrick, then their son William b. 1803 m. Margaret Craig Johnston (Tenn), the their son Alexander Johnston b. 1829 m. Rebecca Reeves Hancock (Arkansas), then their son Ernest Johnstonb. 1874 m. Mary Ethel Woods.
Do you know I might information on Dr. Agricola and his research? I would very much like to keep in contact with you. It is nice to meet people with a common goal.
Thanks,
Tina
