Thank you very much for responding David. Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected] email address was not authorized to be used so I cannot email you directly yet. As to the Pattons.I have James Calvin Patton married to Martha Permelia Burson in 1815. The location was Ellis County Texas. That is all I have so far. His father George was married to Rhoda (no last name) and had seven children I could locate. James Calvin, L.W., and five more unidentified Patton children. His father was the James Patton who married Elizabeth Patton. they were first cousins hence they both had the same last name prior to marriage. I have his date of birth as 1784. He was married in North Carolina in 1809, He died young, killed by the indians in Tennessee, in 1813. Elizabeth was born in 1788 and died on December 31 1860 at the age of 72. It is relatively easy to get info on her since she was married the second time to Davy Crockett. Thanks again. I hope to hear from you.Jerry
