Many thanks. I have been trying to expand this line back for some time. I have a copy of much of the West Virginia Vol. 2,, suspect that the author may have re-writen some of the history. Do you have a copy of the settlers at the Brandywine settlement? John Smith, his sister and brother settled there in 1720. Underwtand this was a Scots/Irish community. Searching for Patton, Smith,Lewis connection there. Thanks Pat celesnavi@msn.com
