Jimmy Patton, 1950's singer
My father is looking to contact an old Air force buddy. They were in service together in the early 50's
Father is Dallas (Dusty) Wood. Buddy is Jimmy Patton (stage name). Real name is Bowersock. I'm not
sure if he melded his life into the Patton name or not.
Jimmy recorded for Moon, Sims, Stereotone and Sourdough records. Most popular song seems to be
Okie in the Pokie. My favorites were Blue Darling and Preacher & the Girl in the Night.
Jimmy was born ca. 1931, possibly in Oklahoma.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has information on this man.
