Well Hey there George!
I see we once again have family running circles around each other. If I'm not related to you on my mother's side maybe my father's Tennesse side will do. The Red Hill cemetery I know about is in Grundy county, TN.At least half of my father's family is there. As far as I can tell I'm related to everyone in that cemetery one way or another.I might have people in Whitwell I don't know about yet.I found the Patton cemetery in Grundy county and found most of my Minerva Patton's family. I also found the most interesting tombstone. It was as tall as I am and read" Here lies a horse thief, shot, hung, burned, name unknown". I guess they were trying to make a point.I did discover that this particular branch was the richest in the county prior to the Civil War. ( must have been nice to have money, hahaha)Anyway, I don't have much on them outside of TN.The other part of my Dad's family is in Warren county.I have heard rumor that some of them might be in Marion county, TN but don't know yet. These would be Matlock, Martin, Jennings, Forrest, Shell, and Dodson families. It was good to hear from you.I'll keep you in mind when we are in Tn.Oh yeah I fogot to tell you I found a huge triple tie in with the Cunningham family from the Carolines to GA. 3 of Daniel brothers m. Cunningahm girls. I don't know if we're related to them or not, but he Cunninghams were neighbors of my Daniel family.I thought it was interesting. Anyway, I guess I have rambled on long enough maybe someone will recognize some of these names
