1820 Census Elk Lick Township
#98 Robert Patton1 (to 10) (male)
1 (16 to 26)(male)
1 (16 to 26)(female)
From a family history:
"Margaret Ann Patton (my g-grandmother) was a daughter of Thomas and Eva Weimer Patton, who came to America from Ireland via England, and settled in Franklin County, PA."
"Thomas Patton, born 1790, died Oct. 20, 1867, age 57, (NOW THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE, DOES IT?) married Eva Weimer Patton born July, 1809, died Sept 1, 1848.."
According to my aunt, who did some research but based much on verbal history, Thomas Patton died at Kingwood, West Virginia
married a second time after 1850; left two additional children when he died.I have found no proof of this. Kingwood would have been in Virginia in 1850...West Virginia in 1867.
