Hi Glenva.

I'm sure your William Patteson must be from the same family as my ancestors from Northern Ireland. They were from Bangor, and there was a Mathew Patteson (1760-1855) married to Anne Glen, daughter of William Glen. One of their sons was William, born 5/10/1805 and died 30/3/1886. My father, Russell Patteson, descended from William's brother, Russell.
