Seeking information on Benjamin F Patterson born 1843 in Tennessee. He may have married twice. He moved to Texas about 1875. Census records have him in Lamar Co., 1880; Grayson Co. 1900 and 1910. He died in 1918. His wife on thsse censuses is Hannah C. (H.C.)
He died in Clay Co., Tx and is buried in Blue Grove Cemetery as is a son William O.
B F had 9 known children - not in birth order: Beulan, Lena, Alice, Betie, Audie, William O., Earl, Maggie, Cora.
I am working primarly on daughter Alice. I am trying to prove she was the Alie that was born 1884 and married William Thomas Cayton in Hopkins Co., Tx. They had 4 known children: Lida, Albert, Jim & Willis. Alice died in Hugo, Okla.in 1978.
