Captain Asa PATTEE, died in 1825 at 91 years of age.He was a volunteer in the Revolution, captain in the militia, settler of Canaan, NH.His son was Colonel Daniel PATTEE.
Colonel Daniel PATTEE, b. March 8, 1764, d. March 2, 1850, married first Judith BARNARD (she d. October 23, 1820).Children:Judith, b. January 24, 1787;Betsey, b. November 5, 1788;Dorothy, B. September 10, 17__;Marian, B. April 21, 1793;Mehitabel, B. February 10, 1795;Sylvester B., b. November 19, 1797;Daniel Jr., b. January 12, 1799;James, b. January 25, 1802;Moses D., b. February 6, 1804;John, b. April 8, 1806;Hannah D., b. February 27, 1808;and Lewis M., b. January 25, 1814.Daniel married second to Dorcas FLOYD and they had one child:Jesse, b. February 10, 1823.
James PATTEE, d. September 28, 1872, married first Rebecca CURRIER.Children:Wyman, b. Canaan, NH, August 28, 1826;George W., b. May 9, 1829;James F., b. June 19, 1831;Ann R., b. Febraury 25, 1835;Burns W., b. January 16, 1837;and Angelina, b. September 26, 1840.James married second:Rosamond H. JONES and they had two children:Ella M., b. November 20, 1846, and George W., February 8, 1850.
