Patrick Family/ GA and AL

I am interested in the Patrick family of north Georgia. My ancestor is Luke Patrick who was born ca. 1770-80. He married Sarah Brewer in Warren Co., GA in 1799. They removed to the Mississippi Territory by 1809 and he died in Wayne Co., MS TR. in 1815.

I believe that he may have been a son of Paul Patrick. I know that many believe that Paul Patrick of Edgecombe Co., NC who married Agnes Milikin was the man who was in GA in the late 1700s, but I feel that the Paul in GA was more likely his son. The Paul Patrick who married Agnes Milikin did so in the mid-1700s. It's unlikely that he was still alive in the 1790s in Wilkes Co., GA.

There was an Agnes Patrick who married a Cunningham in north GA. She was very likely a daughter of Paul Patrick, Jr. and named for her grandmother, Agnes (Milikin) Patrick. There was also a widow named Nancy Patrick, of Wilkes Co., GA, who appeared on the 1805 Land Lottery list. I have often wondered if she was widow of Paul Patrick. My Luke did name a daughter Nancy.

Below, are the children of Luke Patrick and Sarah Brewer:

1. daughter, b. ca. 1801
2. Mary Patrick, b. 1803
3. Wiley Patrick, b. 1805
4. Sarah Patrick, b. 1806
5. Milligan/Milikin Patrick, b. 1809
6. Hiram Patrick, b. 1811 (my ancestor)
7. Agnes Patrick, b. 1813
8. Nancy Patrick, b. 1815

Several of the names of Luke's children are found in the family in Wilkes, Jackson, Oglethorpe and other counties of NE Georgia.

Any help appreciated.
