Good evening Kack. Good to make contact.George Paton's details are - b: 15 Dec 1800 d:223 Aug 1860. He married Jean Kerr (b: 9 May 1802 d: 17 Feb 1861) on 2 Jan 1824. My records show George's parents as Theophilus Paton b: 14 April 1778 d: 18 April 1872 and mother as Jane Car (no further info). I am not 100% sure that I have the parents right but I think so.
The Jean Kerr you refer to is George's wife!
I would be interested in your family connection details.
