Hello John,
I was most interested in your reply to Cory. I have been looking at Theophilus Paton and his descendants for some time but have kept running in to dead-ends which you seem to have overcome. George Paton's eldest daughter, Anne, married my gggfather in Sydney on 7 Oct 1844 - thus my interest. I have not been able to find George Paton's birth on the OPR and therefore was not certain of the date or his parent's names. Do you have both names? With Jean Kerr I had several possibilities, one of whom was, Jean Kerr, baptised 9 May 1802; father, John Paton of Knockendon, Dalry, mother not named. Do you know her name? Thank you for the help. If you would like info on the descendants line of Anne Paton in Australia, let me know.
