I would love to hear from anyone with any connection to the PATON's born in Renfrew, Renfrewshire and Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire:
Robert Paton b abt 1750 married Jean Miller
had the following children:
Robert PATON b abt 1778 Kilbarchan
Mary PATON b abt 1782
James PATON b 29/1/1785
Duncan PATON b 2/4/1787 Kilbarchan
John PATON b 15/6/1789
Matthew PATON b 1/10/1791 Kilbarchan
Margaret PATON b abt 1793
Jean PATON b abt 1795
and
Robert PATON (b 1778 Kilbarchan) married to a Mary (maiden name unknown) born abt 1784 in England. They had a son Robert PATON born abt 1819 in Renfrew.(I am sure they had more children, but i can't find anymore). Robert married a Mary SHANNON b 1819. They had the following children:
James PATON b abt 1840
Robert PATON b abt 1844
William PATON b abt 1847 Renfrew
Duncan PATON b abt 1854
Mary PATON b abt 1856
Matthew PATON b 15/1/1859 Renfrew
