William Patman and Susannah Biggers had eight children. William's will does not name all of his children which proved a problem for some of his female descendants wanting to join the Dar for many years. Susannah inherited 14 slaves from her father, William Biggers, which were to passed on to her children after he death. Before she died, she distributed the slaves among all of her children. Oglethorp County, Ga Deed Book "J" gives a full explanation of the distribution, signed by all the heirs. We find: Samuel Weaver (Husband of Mary "Polly" Patman) John W. Patman William Patman Watson Patman Lewis Lester (Husband of Elizabeth Patman) Thomas B. Pinson (husband of Nancy Patman) William Patman for S.B. Patman (Susan Biggers Patman was still a minor). The final distribution of Williams estate was in 1841. By that time, his son, Watson was desceased and in the records of Coweta Co, Ga we find that the guardian of Watson's children received $10,032.56 and 1/4 cents from the estate of William and Susannah Patman. That was quite an estate.
From the records I have found William and Watson were two different sons and I have never seen William Sr referred to as William Watson. The only William Watson I know about is William Watson Weaver, son of Samuel Weaver and Polly Patman.
