Hello Laura,
I have found a marriage record for Thomas Paterson and Anne Souter. Thomas' parents were Thomas Paterson and Elspeth Smith they married in Fife 7/2/1806. Anne's Parents are David Souter and Rachel Mills, Rachel is listed as deceased on the marriage record of 1857. Thomas Paterson would be my husband's great great great grandfather.
