George Paterson was born about 1790 in Scotland. Not sure where but I would assume in Cumbraes, Bute as that's where other Scottish family members were from. he married Janet Wishart 1814 in Cumbraes. Looking for any details. I really like to go further back but i don't know how to research Scotland.
