Hello! Can anybody be out there?
Forgive my misspelling of the article in my French spelling of Snow. You can see, however, that even with little education, a person can begin to catch glimpses of where Pates came from, out of a very hostile England, in which some felt betrayed by Petts, who some felt had an entirely too cozy arrangement with Dutchmen (and their women), in far away places like America--and little Chilean Isla Mocha.
As the writings of Marvell tell us, the Pett family bore the brunt of the blame for the English naval fiasco at Medway River. Many English would have been happy to see all the Petts beheaded for this mess. With the Petts fell other families of English heroes, like the Monks, Montagues, and others, who scurried to foreign shores to escape English wrath. Mother Kilwinning was killed by the Grand Lodge.
Do ancient dangers still lurk there?
