I have no idea if there's any connection between my family and yours - but the two things that are interesting are that my grandfather (John Pastor) grew up in Hungary and lived in Bridgeport, CT about the same time that Hodge did. I don't know much at all about him beyond that. I believe his parents migrated to the US and that he was born here (in Pennsylvania, I think), but I know that he went back to Hungary when he was very young and lived there until the political situation became bad. He returned to the US and settled in Bridgeport, where he owned Pastor Casket Hardware Co. He married Mary Wargo. I recall that my father told me our name had been shortened or changed from a longer version, perhaps Pasternik. Please let me know if you come across any links.
