Hi Bryan,
Just read your message. Regarding my father, Gerardo Paredes Velasco, he is from Ilocos Sur. A person whose family lives in the Philippines (Ilocos Sur to be exact) had his mother obtain a birth certificate of my dad. I also got some info from Manila about him, but re my mother, Anita Pastor or possibly Anita Posadas from either San Narciso or San Felipe - I've run into a brick wall. I was told that a lot of records were burned during WW2 so there is no record of her in Manila or San Narcisco. Bummer. Still hoping though that someone might come through with some good info.
