Mary (original Ukranian name Mariya) Pastarnak was born in 1895. (In the Austo-Hungarian Empire)-She had atleast 2 sisters, maybe more, and atleast 1 brother, maybe more...and in that, there was also a set of twins. Mary's mother's maiden name was Pauline Gellita (only 1 "t")...and her father was Daniel Pastarnak. The older sister took Mary to the US when Mary was 14 yrs. old in 1909. Then the older sister went back to get a younger sister to bring "her" over. However, the older sister wound up staying behind to take care of the rest of the family because the mother had become ill. So the younger sister came on the boat by herself, and when she arrived at The US, there was an embargo on allowing foreigner's into the country, so she was diverted to Argentina...where she stayed. Does anybody have a connection to this family? Or think so maybe?
