Dear Paula,
My Pasternak's were from Galacia , and my GG Grandfather was Josephus Pasternak, and it is unconfirmed what his wifes name was but it is rumored to be Victoria. he died in Buffalo N.Y. on 28 November 1903 and buried at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Buffalo N.Y. His wife came with him with several children but she moved back after his death He would have been born around 1866 . I currently write to his relatives in Poland who have setteled just outside Oscwiecim Poland. Josephus's parents were a Wojcek and Marryanna Pasternak. My Great Grandmother Anna Pasternak married a Frank Damba and resided in Buffalo N.Y.. Let me know if you think we are related. Ed
